About the Project

iWatch is a smartwatch extension of the iStaff ecosystem developed to support real-time airport operational activities at Hong Kong International Airport. Designed for operational staff to receive instant notifications, task updates, and operational messages directly from wearable devices.

A native Android Wear OS application that delivers real-time notifications, task synchronization, and operational workflow interactions to frontline staff — improving mobility, responsiveness, and communication efficiency during daily airport operations.

01Developed and maintained smartwatch application using Java, Android Studio, and Wear OS technologies
02Integrated the smartwatch application with backend operational systems and APIs
03Implemented real-time notifications, task synchronization, message alerts, and operational workflow interactions
04Supported communication between mobile apps, middleware services, and wearable devices
05Worked on bug fixing, performance improvements, and deployment support
06Ensured smooth synchronization between airport operational systems and wearable devices
